1. ABOUT THIS PAGE

1.1 This page collects in one place the disclaimers that apply to the Services. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and forms part of the "Agreement" described in Section 1.3 of the Terms. It summarizes and supplements Sections 4, 6 through 11, 22, and 23 of the Terms and does not limit them. If this page and the Terms conflict, Section 1.4 of the Terms applies.

1.2 Capitalized terms not defined here, such as "Services," "AI Features," "Insight Features," "Informational Content," and "Second Innings Parties," have the meanings given in the Terms. "Including" means "including without limitation."

2. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

2.1 Not a licensed professional. Second Innings is not a licensed or certified matchmaker, therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, physician, healthcare provider, attorney, financial advisor, astrologer, or other professional, and does not provide professional services of any kind (Terms Section 8.2).

2.2 Information only. No content, feature, AI output, astrology reading, compatibility score, match insight, article, guide, help center answer, message from Second Innings, or other Informational Content is:
(a) medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, including about sexual health, fertility, pregnancy, or any physical condition;
(b) mental health advice, therapy, counseling, or crisis support, including about grief, divorce, loneliness, stress, or relationships;
(c) legal advice, including about divorce, separation, custody, child support, prenuptial agreements, estates, or immigration;
(d) financial, tax, or investment advice, including about money, joint finances, property, or any investment or cryptocurrency;
(e) astrological or religious guidance on which you should base decisions; or
(f) professional matchmaking, relationship, or family counseling.

2.3 Your decisions. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional about your circumstances, and never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of anything on the Services. You are solely responsible for decisions you make, and actions you take or do not take, based on Informational Content (Terms Sections 8.2 to 8.4). Your use of the Services does not create any professional, fiduciary, or special relationship with Second Innings (Terms Section 8.3).

3. EMERGENCIES

3.1 THE SERVICES ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE AND ARE NOT MONITORED IN REAL TIME. Reporting a member to us, or telling the AI Companion about an emergency, is not a substitute for contacting emergency services.

3.2 Emergency numbers.

3.3 Crisis support in the United States.

4. AI OUTPUTS

4.1 AI OUTPUTS MAY BE WRONG. AI Features generate outputs automatically. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, inappropriate, offensive, or unsuitable for your situation, may conflict with other outputs, and do not reflect the views of Second Innings. Independently evaluate any output before relying on it. You use AI outputs at your own risk (Terms Section 9.3).

4.2 You are talking to a machine. The AI Companion is an automated system, not a person, not Second Innings staff, and not another member. It is not a therapist or crisis service and may not respond appropriately to a crisis (Terms Sections 9.2 and 9.4).

4.3 AI and automation work together. Features described as AI may combine machine learning and language models with rules, scoring formulas, and pre-written templates, and some of their output may be produced entirely by rule-based or template-based components (Terms Section 9.1). 5. ASTROLOGY AND COMPATIBILITY: ENTERTAINMENT ONLY

5.1 Entertainment only. Astrology features, including Vedic and Western charts, kundli and guna matching, dosha assessments, planetary readings, remedies, and related insights, are provided for entertainment, curiosity, and self-reflection only (Terms Section 10.1). Astrology is not a science, and these features are not scientifically validated.

5.2 No predictions. Astrology content may refer to traditional concepts about health, children, fertility, longevity, finances, family, or marriage. These references are traditional astrological interpretations only. THEY ARE NOT PREDICTIONS, DIAGNOSES, OR ASSESSMENTS OF ANY PERSON'S HEALTH, FERTILITY, LONGEVITY, FINANCES, CHARACTER, OR BEHAVIOR, OR OF THE SUCCESS, STABILITY, OR OUTCOME OF ANY RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE (Terms Section 10.2).

5.3 Remedies are not endorsements. Any reference to a ritual, puja, mantra, gemstone, donation, practice, place, product, or service provider is general and traditional information only. It is not a recommendation or endorsement by Second Innings, and you should not purchase any product or service in reliance on it (Terms Section 10.3).

5.4 Do not rely on astrology for important decisions. Do not make decisions about relationships, marriage, children, health, medical care, finances, or religious or spiritual practice based on astrology features. Results depend on the birth details members provide, which we do not verify, and may be incomplete or inaccurate when a member's details are missing or approximate.

6. MATCH SCORES AND INSIGHTS ARE ESTIMATES

6.1 Compatibility scores, percentages, match meters, tags, "why this match" explanations, and other Insight Features are relative estimates generated by our systems from information members provide. They are not precise measurements, predictions, or guarantees, may be adjusted for display, and may differ between features or over time (Terms Section 10.2).

6.2 A score or label does not tell you whether a person is safe, honest, available, or right for you, and it is not an assessment of anyone's character.

6.3 The profiles you see, and their order, are determined by automated systems that consider many factors, including paid and promoted placement, as described in Section 4.3 of the Terms.

7. VERIFICATION BADGES ARE NOT IDENTITY OR BACKGROUND CHECKS

7.1 SECOND INNINGS DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS OF ITS MEMBERS AND DOES NOT VERIFY THE LEGAL IDENTITY, MARITAL STATUS, AGE, HEALTH, INTENTIONS, OR STATEMENTS OF ITS MEMBERS (Terms Section 6.1).

7.2 A "Photo verified" or similar badge means only that the member completed an automated photo and liveness check at a point in time and that our systems did not detect a mismatch. It does not mean that we have verified the member's legal identity, age, background, relationship status, or truthfulness, that the member is safe, or that the member's current photos or profile are accurate. Verification tools can be wrong or circumvented (Terms Section 6.3).

7.3 Moderation and safety tools are imperfect, and we do not guarantee that harmful content or members will be detected or removed (Terms Section 6.4).

8. CONTENT, ARTICLES, AND TESTIMONIALS

8.1 Articles, blog posts, guides, videos, resources, help center content, tips, official messages, surveys, popups, and other content we publish or distribute are provided for general information only, may not be current, complete, or accurate, and may be changed or removed at any time (Terms Section 11.1). Section 2 of this page applies to all of it.

8.2 Testimonials and stories describe individual experiences. They are not typical and are not a promise or guarantee that you will have a similar experience or result (Terms Section 11.1).

8.3 Content written by members, including profiles and messages, is the responsibility of the member who wrote it. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee it (Terms Section 12.4).

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS, CONTENT, AND ADVERTISING

9.1 The Services may include advertisements, sponsored content, links, embedded content, and integrations from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, websites, or practices, and their inclusion does not imply our endorsement. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them, and their terms and privacy policies apply (Terms Section 11.2).

9.2 Free experiences of the app may show advertising, which may be personalized subject to your choices and applicable law (Terms Section 11.3). An advertisement is not a recommendation by Second Innings.

9.3 Crisis lines, emergency services, and other outside resources we list are independent organizations. We do not operate them and are not responsible for their services.

10. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

We do not guarantee that you will receive any number of matches, likes, views, or messages, that you will find a compatible partner or a relationship, or that any member will respond to you, meet you, or behave in any particular way. Paid features improve access to certain tools; they do not guarantee outcomes (Terms Section 4.2).

11. YOUR SAFETY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

11.1 YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS AND WITH ANYONE YOU MEET THROUGH THE SERVICES, ONLINE OR OFFLINE. Communicating with and meeting people you do not know involves inherent risks, including fraud, romance and investment scams, financial loss, harassment, stalking, extortion, emotional distress, illness, physical injury, sexual assault, and death.

11.2 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND RELEASE THE SECOND INNINGS PARTIES AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 7 OF THE TERMS. Section 7 of the Terms, including the assumption of risk, the release, and the waiver of unknown claims, controls.

12. GENERAL DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

12.1 THE SERVICES, ALL CONTENT, AI FEATURES, INSIGHT FEATURES, INFORMATIONAL CONTENT, VERIFICATION AND SAFETY TOOLS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE PROVIDED BY OR THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 22 OF THE TERMS.

12.2 THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY IN SECTION 23 OF THE TERMS APPLY TO EVERYTHING DESCRIBED ON THIS PAGE.

12.3 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing on this page excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the rights described in Section 27 of the Terms.
